Vastu Shastra, the ancient Indian science of architecture and design, is believed to influence numerous elements of life, including health. This case observation gives a detailed perspective into the application of Vastu Shastra in enhancing the health of a subject diagnosed with cancer. Despite receiving the best medical treatment available, day by day her condition kept deteriorating, with no signs of improvement.
This case highlights how precise Vastu-related adjustments in her residing environment played a vital role in improving her internal power and supporting her medical treatment.
The subject of this case examination is a middle-aged female who has been diagnosed with cancer. Even while undergoing advanced medical treatment, her health continued to drop down. The treatment, which was expected to offer relief and improvement in her condition, seemed to have little effect. Her family and relatives were deeply concerned as her fitness worsened with every passing day. It turned into this critical stage that the family decided to explore alternative ways for her treatment. They consulted me to evaluate the impact of her living environment on her health.
Upon visiting the female’s house, we thoroughly analysed the space, focusing on the placement, colours, and direction of numerous factors in the house. Several Vastu imbalances were identified, particularly in key areas believed to influence health and well-being.
Northeast (NE) Zone:
The Northeast zone, which is considered the most holy and powerful in Vastu Shastra, was painted red. In Vastu, the Northeast is associated with water elements and spiritual energy. The colour red, related to fire, is considered highly irrelevant for this zone as it may disturb the flow of positive energy and exacerbate health problems.
North-Northeast (NNE) Zone:
The walls in the NNE zone had been painted yellow. This zone is important for health and power. Yellow, although a warm and any general positive colour, was not suitable for this area as it may contribute to an imbalance in the energy flow, further complicating the woman’s health condition.
South-Southeast (SSE) Zone:
The SSE area, associated with the fire detail, had blue tiles on the walls and ceiling. Blue, representing water, clashes with the fire elements of this zone, developing a disharmony that could occur as physical fitness troubles. This mismatch probably contributed to the woman’s declining health.
South-Southwest (SSW) and Southwest (SW) Zones:
The woman’s bedroom was located inside the SSW-SW zone, and her bed was positioned in the SSW zone. These zones are related to stability and strength, however, they also can accumulate negative energy if not balanced well. The incorrect placement of her bed in this position might have been draining her physical and emotional strength.
Our Vastu professional recommended a sequence of adjustments to accurate the imbalances and enhance the positive energy in the house. These remedies were meant to support the woman’s medical treatment by giving her the inner strength she needed to fight her illness.
Northeast (NE) Zone:
The red colour at the NE wall was changed to brown. Brown, an earthy and neutral colour, aligns with the natural energies of the Northeast zone, promoting stability and harmony. This alternate change was expected to enhance the positive energy within the place, fostering a more conducive environment for healing.
North-Northeast (NNE) Zone:
The yellow colour of the walls in the NNE zone was replaced with green. Green is associated with growth, health, and renewal, making it an excellent choice for this area. This adjustment aimed to restore stability and support the women’s overall well-being.
South-Southeast (SSE) Zone:
In the SSE sector, where it was not feasible to replace the blue tiles, a red bulb was set up. The red bulb introduced the fire element back into the zone, counteracting the cooling effect of the blue tiles and rebalancing the energy. This simple but effective remedy was intended to reduce the negative impact of the existing decor.
South-Southwest (SSW) Zone:
The wall inside the SSW quarter was painted yellow, a colour that supports balance and energy in this area. However, the ceiling was left untouched to avoid overpowering the energy. Additionally, the women’s bed was moved from the SSW zone to the Southwest-West-Southwest (SW-WSW) zone, which is extra favourable for relaxation and healing. This repositioning was crucial in improving her physical and emotional strength.
This case examination underscores the impact of Vastu Shastra on health and well-being. While medical treatment is important for addressing physical illnesses, the environment in which one lives can significantly impact the effectiveness of such treatment. By making strategic changes to her residing area, the woman was able to enhance her inner strength, which in return supported her healing process.
